Raina Alexandria "Rayne" Blanchard (Born February 20, 1989), is a Canadian fashion model.
Blanchard was born in Hamilton, Ontario, and in 2008 moved with her family to Santa Monica, California, where she was a student at OTiS College of Art & Design. She is the daughter of Caen Blanchard (née Seydoux), and Harrison Blanchard. Her mother is French Canadian, and her father is a Czech-born Canadian American. Blanchard has a younger sister, Robin, who is also a model, and a younger brother, Ethan. In 2007, Blanchard graduated from Hamilton High School, where she won numerous medals in Track & Field events.
Following high school, she moved to Los Angeles to focus on her studies and modeling career. Blanchard studied at OTiS College of Art & Design beginning spring 2009.
Blanchard's modeling career started when she was 17 years old. She started off as a freelance model before briefly stopping to concentrate on college. In between her college years, she actively partook in numerous shoots for school magazines, online clothing stores, and a few commercials. Blanchard eventually returned to modeling 6 years later, still as a freelance model. She has worked with many artists and was featured once in an article in Elle Magazine. In 2015, she signed under IMG Models and has shot four campaigns with Quiksilver since her signing.
Blanchard's sister Robin is also a model, and the two sisters have been working together on some modeling appearances.
On July 15, 2014, she starred alongside rising actor and model Suzuka Matsuoka in fashion designer Zaire Farahmandnia's autumn/winter campaign. She has also starred alongside model Val Nicole Mercado in numerous appearances.
On February 19, 2015, Blanchard was named an Ambassador for the Livestrong Foundation. She is also part of the Quiksilver & Roxy Initiative, in relation to her activities in Quiksilver.
